To put it simply i have uploaded my last photo using my trusty point and shoot digital camera, the vivitar vivicam-4345.

I have retired the old girl because my girlfriend and family have clubbed together to get me z brand spanking new Nikon D60

I look forward to taking as many weird and wonderful images as i did with the vivicam, but without the pixelating effect that camera excelled at.



The PA70 series i've just uploaded, were taken on the way home from a day out in a hire car. I didn't get that many good shots during the day, so when it started raining and all the lights started reflecting off the raindrops and wet motorway i thought it might be fun to play around with the D60.
I think i must have taken around 80 shots which i've condensed down to about 9 to upload here.  
If any else is thinking about doing this type of thing, i highly recommend it, it was a lot of fun, you can never tell what you end up with and you really start looking at long drives in a different light.
Oh and PA70 is supposed to stand for Photography at 70mph
